As we come the end of another big year we’d like to wish all of our clients and their families a happy and safe holiday season.
2019 has been a year where we’ve seen historically low interest rates that have helped make borrowing more affordable. On the negative side, the challenges with tightening credit criteria have continued to work against more people getting into home ownership.
Looking forward to 2020, we expect to see continuing low interest rates and growth of lending in the non-bank area. Non-banks are increasingly filling the space once occupied by the trading banks in terms of helping people with less-than-perfect credit and income provability.
The offices of Edge Mortgages will officially be closed from the 21st of December through to the 6th of January so we can take a break and come back refreshed in the new year to continue to secure our clients the borrowing they need.
